Infertility: Five months without pregnancy with unprotected sex is not entirely unusual, but many times it is a male factor. Have your partner see his physician and check his sperm count. Ask your gyn provider about a possible hysterosalpingogram ( x-ray of your tubes to make sure they are open). This will work in a large number of cases like yours.
