It depends.: People can have mild cases of dyslexia that can be compensated for. But others will need extra help with reading and can often have other learning disabilities as well. The remedies are as variable as the individuals. Help can be obtained from speech and language pathologists, reading specialized teachers, special education, alternative modes of learning. Accommodations can often be made.
