A member asked:

My right ovary is quite enlarged and it is due to some fertility drugs i was prescribed. can this be treated by medicines instead of some surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian size: meds: Some fertility medications can produce extreme enlargement of an ovary. This can usually resolved by suspending the cycle of fertility medications and allowing the ovary to revert to normal size. Occasionally it may be necessary to do laparoscopic surgery to prevent complications from spontaneous rupture of a very enlarged ovary. See your fertility provider for an exam and advice.
