Wait to give fluids: Wait one to two hours after vomiting before trying to give liquids. Also give liquids in sips instead of large volumes. Followup with your child's doctor if child is unable to keep fluids down or showing signs of dehydration- no urine in 3 hours, dry lips, decreased tearing of eyes.
