Electrolyte Test: Electrolytes can easily get thrown out of balance when dieting. Sodium is often to low, as may be potassium and magnesium. This can result in swelling of the brain - headache. Try electrolyte replacement with gatorade instead of plain water. At 60 yrs old, may be dangerous to diet too strictly - go easy on the diet, add exercise also. See your Dr if no improvement
