A member asked:

I am bleeding with painful cramps after taking monistat 1. will this go away on it's own? i don't have medical insurance.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yeast infections: Bleeding with painful cramps is not a result of Monistat I. If you have any concern about being pregnant, get an HCG serum test to be certain. Pain on one side is possibly an ovarian cyst or an abscess. See your gyn for an exam. Yeast infections are mild, and do not generally cause either cramps or bleeding, but a pregnancy in your tubes can, and that is a gyn emergency.
