Probably unrelated: Vaginal yeast infections (the only condition treated by Monistat) don't bleed, and there's no reason to suspect Monistat ever causes vaginal bleeding. In other words, her bleeding probably has nothing to do with a yeast infection. Is she sure about the yeast diagnosis? Yeast can be confused with other infections that might bleed. Best for her to check with her doctor.
