Knee pains.: Treating knee pain would first require a determination of cause. Could be osteoarthritis, meniscal tear, ligament tear or patellar maltracking, just to name a few possible issues. So the first step would be an investigation into cause, including examination, X-rays and maybe MRI scan.

Depends: On the cause of the pain. If osteoarthritis OTC Tylenol or NSAIDS if not contraindicated. Heat or topical analgesics. Other forms of arthritis or injury or severe osteoarthritis will require specific management
