Urgent liver test: Is needed to exclude the possibility of liver disease as a cause of your symptoms although other possibilities less serious such as viral infection may be possible. Needs an in person examination and may need blood/urine tests arranged. Please see your doctor and urgently if fevers chills abdominal pain persistent vomiting.

Testing: The dark colour of your urine could be due to build up of bilirubin which is made by the liver. A blood test to look at your liver enzymes would clarify whether this was the case. Alternatively, this could be a sign of dehydration or you kidneys not working properly - again a blood test would help. Are you taking any new medications or supplements? Sometimes they turn the urine dark.
