Had a total knee replacement one week ago when i go to get out of bed i have a severe burning sensation in my shin which takes several minutes to subs?

Get evaluated: Burning is a non specific sign, but could represent swelling or just a normal change in sensation following surgery due to the procedure. Please call your MD's office so they can get more details and decide if you might need to be seen by them. Good luck!
