Yes: Lysine is an essential amino acid usually found in a normal diet. As a doctor, I am not aware of any recommendations to breast feeding woman that they require extra lysine, in fact, I have never prescribed it. You should just get it from a proper well balanced diet and then it will pass through the breast milk so that your baby can have some too.
