Oral BCP: Today's doses of oral bc are very low. It is therefore important to take the active pill at almost the same time every day, and I ask my patients to only take 5 days of the placebo pill before starting the new active pills for 21 days. Take the active pills in the evening, and you will not have occasional bad dreams which happen when estrogen leves are low.
