A member asked:

My gynecologist knows exactly where my small polyp is couldn't they just use a brush or suction biopsy? or use ultrasound with biopsy probe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Polyp.: In general, small polyp can resolve by itself. In a case where the polyp need to be removed, the most effective way is the use of operative hysteroscopy. Blind endometrial biopsy may work in 25% of the time. Saline ultrasound is good for diagnosis but not for removal. Good luck.
