Several: Like most mental health issues, there is a range of impairment, and the treatments vary with the individual's particular needs and severity. Meds like Abilify (aripiprazole) & risperdol are commonly used. Anti-anxiety meds are often very helpful. New treatments are being evaluated now. Many of us treat the areas of impairment that coexist with the autism, and that too can help the function quality of life.
