I've been told by doctors that smoking pot while pregnant can help with the morning sickness, gaining weight and some have recommended it but also not good by other doctors, help please would like answers and info on side effects if possible?

Pot while pregnant?: Since marijuana is still illegal in most states, and clinical trials on pregnant women are not done in most academic settings with "evidence based medicine" approaches, it is best to avoid since all "side effects" including those on the fetus, have not been studied (for good reasons). There are other meds to assist with nausea and weight gain in pregnancy: consult your OB provider.
