Vaginal irritation: Sex usually just amplifies the presence of a vaginal infection by bacteria, yeast or virus. Multiple episodes of sex may also irritate the lining of the vagina just like a friction burn does, but diabetes in your husband (unless he also is not circumcised and has a yeast infection) or Hashimotos' thyroiditis will not cause your symptoms.
