If u take a diuretic at a high dose, can it dehydrate lungs over time & cause increased mucus because i keep getting bronchitis since even in summer?

Diuretics=a tool for: reducing kidney's ability to reabsorb as much water as brain orders. Thus not a cure; only treatment for excess body water retention/intake.
