A member asked:

I'm always tired, even though i sleep more than 8hours/night. feeling lethargic. have gained 15kg in the last year. should i test for hypothyroidism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Weight gain/fatigue: If you have increased calorie consumption and/or have changed your exercise habits, weight can accumulate even at age 26 over a year. There are other causes for lethargy/fatigue, but ask your doctor to check your TSH level to rule out hypothyroidism.
