Likely: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, Tissue damage and inflammation from any cause can raise CRP. You may wish to repeat it after you have healed properly , preferably after about 6 weeks.
