Impaction: Passage of a fecal compaction followed by abdominal cramps and diarrhea is a little unusual but can be seen with irritable bowel syndrome. If your bowel movements don't normalize after a couple of days or if you continue to have significant abdominal discomfort, I recommend an evaluation by your physician or a gastroenterologist. In view of your recent impaction don't take antidiarrhea meds.
