Irregular spotting: At 49yo with irregular spotting for the last 14months. The most prudent thing to do is check cbc, rule out pregnancy and have an edometrial biopsy done in the clinic or hysteroscopic d&c in the surgical center by your doctor. The result of the above when negative can be reassuring as well. Good luck.
