See a Podiatrist: Don't roll a glass bottle will not help. Specialists called podiatrists can make custom orthotics for you. A primary care doctor can also prescribe medication to prevent pain and further growth. Getting new shoes, resting your feet, are sensible options as well. See a doctor for complete care.

Heel spur.: Rolling the bottom of your foot back and forth over a large canned vegetable (safer than a glass bottle) won’t break the spur, but will help massage out the plantar fascia which often gets inflamed in the context of heels spurs.
