I have been experiencing gum pain on the roof of my mouth. it is purplish and yellowish i noticed. is this normal? also it is hard to swallow. i should also mention that i have been dealing with tonsillitis for a while now but not sure if related

Oral Pain: Good day; I'm confused, usually gum pain is found directly around the teeth not toward the roof of the mouth. Possibly the discomfort is so bad as to travel toward the roof of the mouth!you may be coming down with a sore throat. A perfect time to arrange a visit with a medically oriented dentist. Good luck
