See an orthopedist: You should see an orthopedist for evaluation which may include a bedside ultrasound or an MRI. Given the length of time, you may have a Rotator cuff tendonitis or tear; or bursitis. Due to the pain with motion, you have probably self-limited your motion and possibly caused Adhesive Capsulitis. Treatment may include: ice, heat, steroid injection, physical therapy, and/or surgery if tear warrants
