I woke up last week with soreness in my left rib cage. i do stretches and i can feel it pulling in my chest and my neck also. could it be muscles or is it bad. could it be from sleeping weird or from dancing?

Pulled muscle: When doing stretching exercises, or with exertion (such as dancing), it's easy to give yourself a mild muscle strain, and then the next day the area is sore. Similar pain in muscles can develop if you sleep in an awkward posture. Often in retrospect it's obvious what it was the previous day that triggered the symptoms. Usually gets better over the course of a few days. Ice/rest/ibuprofen can help.
