I still have minor swelling in my cheek 6 mos. after a bike accident in which i got a black eye/possible cheek fracture. no pain any more. could this be an infection?

Could be: but if no pain, fever, etc, this is less likely than a bone that has healed by forming a callous. In either case you could apply heat and keep the head elevated to try to get the swelling to go down. If it persists, you probably should have an x-ray.
