Yes and no: The majority of 'deposits' in your gallbladder would be sludge or stones formed by an imbalance of cholesterol in solution. If there are no symptoms chances are this would not harm your health. However, those stones can get stuck in the bile ducts or pass down and block the pancreas causing problems that 'harm' you. Usually, we only take out gallbladders when they begin to cause problems.
