Contaminated lens: It sounds as if there is some contaminant in the solutions into which your contact lens was placed after removing them previously. Take the lenses out - consider discarding them - and clean the case thoroughly with soap and water, a rinse with rubbing alcohol, another water rinse and let the cases dry before using them.
