Vasomotor: This puzzling symptom complex may be due to a vasomotor reaction causing dilation of certain blood vessels and development of congestion and edema in the tissues of your hands. I have seen this in some patients whose hands swell after walking, Lack of redness and itch makes a pure allergic reaction unlikely. Perhaps a vascular disease specialist or allergist can advise you better.
