A member asked:

Good mrn docs. in my 1st trimester pregnancy. pls interpret my haemoglobin result: r.b.c count 3.72 mill/c.mm. is it low docs ? thank u sir/ma.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, it is low: For the sake of your and your baby's health, you should be under the care of a doctor. Your red cell count indicates low hemoglobin and it may be a marker of poor nutrition. At a minimum you should take oral iron and multivitamin supplement. Please see a doctor at your earliest convenience. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
