Seems all is well: If you can not see any visible bruises and when you touch him it does not make him cry and he does not seem to be in any discomfort or in pain,and he is drinking milk alright,then it seems no harm is done.Having said that if starts with any of the symptoms or keeps crying,then he should be checked by pediatrician or in ER,

Agree w Dr. Khanna: who provided an excellent response. There are many possible perils when a large dog and a newborn live together. I would not place infant on any surfaces that the dog is on or likely to go on. For instance, lying the baby on a blanket on the floor - UNLESS you or another adult are present at all times.
