A member asked:

Hi i am a 17 years old boy i am receiving chest pain since a few month i have already done ecg and chest x ray but all turn out normal. can you tell what can be the cause of my chest pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Digestive: Most chest pain at your age comes from irritation at the junction of your swallow tube with the stomach, which is physically located just beneath the heart (front to back) at chest level. Caffeine containing products, acidic foods, laying down after eating all aggravate this process. Avoiding these helps as would antacids or something like omeprazole.
