While not an: absolute indicator, a rise in CA19-9, a cancer antigen used primarily in the management of pancreatic cancer, would be worrisome for advancing disease. That change, rise in CA19-9, would, by many, be interpreted as a sign of poor response by the chemotherapy being used. Continue to work closely with your Oncologist to decide on any treatment changes. All good wishes.
