See below : The presence of back pain suggests the strong possibility that you may have a kidney infection. Feeling ill, nausea, fever, and/or chills would further support that. Though MacroBID is a good choice of antibiotic for most bladder infections (cystitis), it is “ineffective” in kidney infections (pyelonephritis) due to poor tissue concentrations. Recommend contacting your MD to change your antibiotic
