Can you be allergic to almonds but drink almond milk with no problem?

Unlikely: Since almond milk is made from raw almond soaked in water, some allergens will leak out into the almond milk in the preparation. If you are allergic to almond , it is best to avoid almond milk as well. One can guess that when almond is roasted, the allergenic property may change and thus accounting for the discrepancy in reactions. If avoidance is not possible, contact your allergist to clarify
