Acne=infection.: Acne is truly an infection within the pores of the skin, so any effective treatment for acne should initially include both a drying agent (i.e. benzoyl peroxide) and an antibiotic (which could be topical or oral).

Manage your acne: Do not try to figure out why you have acne -- it's mostly genetic. If topical benzoyl peroxide or retinoids acid has not worked completely in two weeks, get with your personal physician who will add prescription-strength medication. Stress is good in driving you to be productive, and bad only if you are trapped in an impossible situation -- maybe your doctor can help.
