Can calcified granuloma be caused by exposure to asbestos? 6 nodules ranging in size from .3 to .6 cm. exposure over period of 18mos.

No: Calcified granuloma is an old granuloma or old area of inflammation which gets calcified.Example is in the lung due to tuberculosis contracted long time ago.It is not caused by exposure to asbestos which can cause mesothelioma which is a neoplasm(cancer)
