Mitochondria disordr: Both electron transport chain dysfunction and oxidative phosphorylation dysfunction can be serious inborn errors of metabolism that affect mitochondrial function. It's possible to have a very mild genetic disorder/dysfunction that enables a live birth, or the disorder is acquired and associated with conditions such as myopathy, Alzheimers, other neurodegenerative conditions.
