A member asked:

If someone ever got ebola virus, is there even a small chance to survive or is it an automatic death sentence?

Some survive: The ebola virus is highly infectious within a body of an exposed person. This includes an attack on immune system cells which ordinarily marshall defenses against viral invasion and spread. Some in fact have better immune systems than others, and survival is documented It is still best avoided.
