You probably have: excessive constipation. If this has been a longstanding problem it would be useful to see a gastroenterologist for evaluation and treatment. It is unlikely that the omeprazole is contributing to your problem. More likely to be dietary and bowel habits as the cause.

Altosec=omeprazole: You may be describing delayed prokinesis--e.g. a sluggish gut that is not moving food forward fast enough, resulting in both omeprazole-refractory indigestion and constipation. Simple tests may help distinguish this from conditions that may be inflammatory, obstructive, etc.
