Among other causes: Self-limited diarrhea and abdominal pain typically reflect a "24-hour bug" or staph food poisoning. We can't comment as to cause here however given the limited context you provided but, your diarrhea sounds more persistent and is accompanied by recurrent discomfort so, evaluation is certainly in order.
