Epistaxis: Epistaxis, or nose bleeds can be annoying. The nasal passages are very vascular and even small irritated area can bleed heavily if open. Seasonal allergies can cause drying of the mucus membranes and promote nose bleeds, so nasal spray such as Saline can help if used properly, simply to keep your nose moist. If done correctly, cauterization should NOT hurt, and best to call Discovery to see if pd.

Hello: this is coming from a doctor in the United States. Although I don't have any idea what the cost is of cautery of a blood vessel in your nose - I can recommend that you contact Discovery directly to find out what your policy covers.
