Xerostomia: Dry mouth is not a common symptom of LPR. LPR symptoms include foreign body sensation in the throat, mucus in the throat, throat clearing, hoarseness, throat pain, and dry tickle cough. Dry mouth could be related to inadequate fluid intake, autoimmune disorders like Sjogren’s syndrome, medication side effect, radiation side effects and mouth breathing due to nasal obstructive problems.
