Don't Panic: If it is small bleeds from the fall it would likely be read that way, but still possible.Punctate white matter changes on MRI are VERY COMMON "incidental findings".They usually list a "differential" in the assessment.They can range from meaningless to important findings and should be discussed with the doctor who ordered the test, an internist and/or neurologist depending on clinical findings.

Not enough info: The MRI is complex exam with multiple separate scans that show different things. It is very common to see a few scattered white spots which are not clinically important. However, if these spots are seen on a diffusion scan, it could indicate brain injury. Without seeing the exam, it would be premature for me to say which it is.
