Asthma: or more likely asthmatic bronchitis, especially if you are a smoker. Difficulty breathing mandates a visit to a clinic or hospital, where you could get an inhaler if indeed you are wheezing. Obviously don't smoke.

Go to ED. : Not knowing about your medical history, of course, your symptoms could represent an attack of asthma, COPD, heart failure or pneumonia, just to name a few of the more significant possibilities. An immediate evaluation in an emergency department is in order.
