Weight & arthritis: Probably both. The more we have to carry the more stress on the body/joints. Please see your doctor so he/she can guide you through a safe and helpful program of food and exercise. Please ask him/her about a low carb food plan. Peace and good health.

Either. : Your ankle pains could simply be indicative of the fact that your extra weight is causing strain upon your weight-bearing joints, for example the ankles. As well, being overweight does accelerate the process of developing arthritis. But you’re doing the right thing, as weight loss helps arthritis to not bother you as much.
