Same as others: Disseminated gonococcal infection is an exceedingly rare cause of meningitis; I doubt there are more than 1-2 cases a year in all of North America. The complications would be the same as any other kind of bacterial meningitis: paralysis, blindness, deafness, coma, and others. However, recovery is complete the large majority of all bacterial meningitis
