Time for EGD. : It’s probably time for another endoscopy. Although not the norm, there’s always a chance that the original infection did not clear. Or this can be a new issue. Regardless, we need to look inside to see if you have an ulcer or gastritis.

Have gerd. Was on aciphex (rabeprazole) for years but stopped like 6 months ago. Now my spit is like a yellow mucus. Is this post nasal drip caused by gerd?
Dec 12 started ativan .75 mg 4x day for intestinal seizures. Aciphex (rabeprazole) 20 mg 2x day (4 yrs). Gerd/nausea suddenly have become worse (2-3 weeks) ?

Why would my gastro doc discourage Nissen procedure when I have chronic gerd? I do not have Barrett's, but am concerned about that progression. I reflux constantly. Is aciphex (rabeprazole) enough to keep esophagus healed?
