Chronic tonsillitis: Tonsillitis is generally brought on by bacteria or viruses. The chronic inflammation/infection is brought on by poor immunity, resistant bacteria, someone at home being a carrier and is getting you infected again and again. There is a possibility of an undrained abscess, but you will need a CT for this. You might do a rundown on all the things going into your mouth. You might find an answer.
