D dimer 1100 - reference up to 500. right side chest pain when breathing in. pulmonary embolism?

Maybe PE.: The d-dimer test in and of itself is not diagnostic of PE, but an elevated level is suggestive of such. Would need confirmatory testing with either CT angiogram or ventilation/perfusion scan.
